The CIK-FIA races that have taken place on the biggest circuit in the UK have been particularly intense. This was especially the case in 2015, at the CIK-FIA European KF and KF-Junior Championship. Britain has often proved itself in the training of young Champions and the excellent teams from the United Kingdom are not lacking. Relaunched in 2016 with the new OK generation of engines, the MSA British Kart Championship has been a great success in Junior and Senior. – @CIKFIA

With its 91 entries, the OK category has reached the highest attendance of its young history at the CIK-FIA World Championship. In England, the top specialists will of course be in the game from all the top factories.  COMPKART will enter two (2) of America’s brightest and youngest talents who have dedicated their marks to the brand distinguished by the Fluo.  Frist, the New York native Nicholas d’Orlando who has shown the speed to compete alongside the best in 2017 will be on hand and ready paired with his familiar Covert model chassis and this time powered by the factory from IAME.  Joining d’Orlando will be the California native, Dante Yu.  The speedster from the left-coast will be looking to cash in on his tremendous speed in England as he saddles aboard his Covert model chassis with continued power provided by factory TM Racing Engines.

The story line…….With over ninety (90) drivers the key will be to manage the others and stay on course while adapting well to the conditions. The conditions will prove to be tricky at the famous circuit located in the United Kingdom, for sure a weather change will  be expected at some point in addition to constantly changing grip conditions.  For the sake of d’Orlando and Yu they both have solid experience at the circuit with Yu edging the experience level at PF International with two previous events, which include taking pole position at the TVKC OK round earlier this year in August.  d’Orlando enjoyed his first experience at the circuit in August as well during the collective test whereby, the speed shown gives the team solid motivation.
