With entries being open for nearly a month already, the 17th edition of the SKUSA Super Nationals look to be bigger than ever. With a refined class structure including Rotax Jr. and Rotax DD2, the world’s largest Karting event is already preparing to rock the RIO All Suites circuit in 2013.
J3 Competition is no stranger to the Super Nationals, as they are easily identified as a trend setting leader within the prestigious event in addition to its industry standard. After years of competing in Las Vegas and countless victories across the continent, J3 Competition has amassed an impressive resume at the Super Nationals, which is littered with fast times, wins, podiums, and top ten results.
“The Super Nationals is unique for several obvious reasons, but part of its allure is that many of the competitors travel the world to compete in this special event as a ‘one-off’. This means a different set of constraints for our Race Department, thus we have to understand our client’s expectations precisely, so upon their arrival in Las Vegas we are ready to hit the track first session running! As a quick snapshot, J3 Competition has captured the TaG Masters title the past three seasons (2010, 2011, 2012) but alongside this result they have placed other TaG Masters drivers on the podium alongside winner – Leonardo Nienkotter making J3 Competition the affirmed mentioned TaG leader. From here it’s easy to move to other impressive results, for instance: TaG Cadet where the inaugural event (2010) for this category was dominated and won by Race Department pilot Patricio O’Ward and in 2012 almost taken by driver Rasmus Lindh, and the results simply continue….
The list of drivers who have challenged the course at the SKUSA Super Natioanls in the modern era on J3 Competition material include the likes of; Victor Cabrerra (Stars Champion), Joel Miller (Stars/.SKUSA Champion), Richard Benitez(CKI Champion), Felice Tiene(Euro Champ), Tristan DeGrand(FWT & CKI Champ), and Johnny Johnson just to name a few, who all coincidentally have left a lasting mark in Las Vegas thanks to their involvement with J3 Competition. There are obviously more drivers In addition to this fraternity as J3 Competition has successfully hosted drivers at the event form over twelve different countries proving the logistical prowess of the J3 program.
Getting to the core of the Super Nationals and being able to achieve a solid result and position one’s self for Super Sunday requires; dedication, service, quality materials, management, and consistency.
