2023 US Trophy West Series Announced

J3 Competition will kick off its 2023 Rotax Racing calendar with the Rotax Trophy West series having its first rounds in March at the popular Phoenix Kart Racing Association facility in Glendale, Arizona followed up in April with the final rounds at Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona. Following an exciting 2022 season the high-level and cost-effective regional program will provide a step in every competitor’s journey to the US Trophy Final event which is scheduled to take place later in the year in September at New Castle Motorsports Park, where twelve RMC Grand Finals tickets will up for grabs.
“Utilizing two great facilities and the favorable weather in the region we will see the series start in March. We decided on a March start date which allows competitors to be settled after the Holidays providing plenty of time to prepare for the year of Rotax Racing. Much like 2022 we will continue with two separate days of racing as well as track direction reversal which was a big favorite in 2022. We will also award one weekend winner over the course of the event which will consist of the best final finishes over Saturday and Sunday with podium presentations taking place on Sunday. “– Justin Stefani
In 2022 the series witnessed competitors enjoying high performance and enjoyable racing with the lowest-cost of ownership in the market provided directly through the Rotax platform. In 2023 competitors aiming to compete in either the Rotax Trophy West or East series will enjoy current engine package incentives with a $600 discount off the purchase of a new evo 125 Rotax engine kit when proof of series entry is presented.
For those planning for the new year of Rotax Racing, the sporting and technical regulations for 2023 will again align tightly with those from 2022 with the continuation of the very popular high-grip and long-lasting MoJo tires for all categories. With few changes to the supplemental regulations both the technical and sporting side will have a strong continuation of consistency. The new 2023 regulations will be posted in the coming weeks at the Race Rotax website alongside all pertinent series information.
Alongside the series regulations, the series awards packages will be online along with each venues event page being fully update on the Race Rotax website in the coming week. With registration set to go live in January the team is excited for another elevated and exciting year of Rotax Racing.
