Several COMPKART drivers are already on track at the Le Mans Karting circuit situated in the famed town of Le Mans, France home to the 24 du Mans event for the annual X30 World Championship event. Drivers housed underneath the COMPKART UK operations team, Vital Motorsports are enjoying early success as a strong line up of drivers are vying for the ultimate price of being crowned X30 World Champion against well over 400 total drivers, this goal will not be an easy one.
Frist driver coming to mind is that of returning world champion American driver, David Malukas. Malukas, again under the watchful eye of Bryn Nuttall and his BN Racing operation has made the move to X30 Sr. for the event which means there will be no title defense for Malukas, but the new challenge is already bearing fruit as the dynamic team will look to do the unthinkable, repeat. Alongside Malukas under BN Racing’s guidance is that of Irish champion Gary Edwards. Edwards showed very well in last year’s event and with ample experience this season aboard his COMPKART, Edwards will be a factor in the final tally Le Mans.
Shifting to the X30 Jr. contingent is another American with strong potential in Le Mans, it’s SKUSA ProKart Champion and Pro Tour points leader Dante Yu. Yu, having ample experience this season in Europe will embark on Le Mans for the first time looking to cash a chip in during against a stout field of over 144 drivers!
Rounding out the team in Le Mans is X30 Master pilot Mark Daly. Daly has had a solid season to date and with a strong team providing ample infrastructure and management support, Daly is looking to build on an his season with a solid showing in Le Mans.
