J3 Competition Ignites the Kart Racing Community with Exciting 2024 Series Format and RMC Grand Finals Tickets

Erie, Pennsylvania – September 11, 2023

J3 Competition is excited to kick off the 2024 racing season with its highly anticipated US Trophy West series. The 2024 program promises more thrilling racing, with a revamped format that includes three double-header event weekends. What sets this season apart is the exclusive opportunity for series winners to secure coveted RMC Grand Finals Tickets. This exciting development, coupled with a full list of additional prizes and in-event activities, promises to elevate the program to new heights.

The action-packed season commences with the first event weekend at the renowned Phoenix Kart Racing Association facility in Glendale, Arizona, from February 23-25, 2024. The excitement continues with the second weekend of events at Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona, scheduled for March 22-24, 2024. The championship will cap off with the conclusion (at a soon-to-be-revealed location) on April 19-21, 2024. This exciting format follows the success of J3 Competition’s 2023 US Trophy Final event in New Castle, Indiana, held from September 14-17, 2023.

“As our karting community continues to flourish, we are excited to evolve the US Trophy West program in the western United States. In 2024, we’re adding an extra event weekend to the calendar and offering RMC Grand Finals tickets directly to some of our series winners,” s J3 Competition. “We’re kicking off the competition season in February, giving competitors the opportunity to savor Arizona’s superb weather while experiencing racing at the state’s two premier facilities before capping off the series championship in late April.”

New for 2024, the US Trophy West program introduces an exciting format, with each event weekend featuring two separate race days, on Saturday and Sunday, totaling six official race days throughout the series. Official practice will start on Friday with optional track operated practice on Thursday of each event weekend. Competitors will earn points for all official on-track competition sessions and have the flexibility to drop their lowest-scoring event day in the overall championship points calculation, making it a best-five-out-of-six event days championship. Building on the success of 2023, where competitors faced a track reversal from Saturday to Sunday, the 2024 season will present similar challenges, along with improved event structures designed to create a true community atmosphere for participants and fans alike.

For those eagerly planning their 2024 racing season, the series’ sporting and technical regulations will closely mirror those of 2023, with a continued focus on the immensely popular Rotax product line. The detailed 2024 regulations will soon be available on J3 Competition’s online platform, www.RaceRotax.com. Competitors can anticipate finding inclusive regulations, event specifics, registration details, as well as product information and enticing incentives. With registration set to go live in December 2023, be sure to follow both @RaceRotax and @J3CompetitionOfficial on social media and subscribe to our newsletter to stay well-informed of the latest developments and activities.
