After several months of exstensive testing and development J3 Competition is releasing two new products to its lineup. Realized thorugh the continuous development taken by its Race Department, J3 Competition has the offering of new ‘SKID PLATES’ and Magnesium wheel sets.

J3 Skid Plates

The skid plates, which have been tested then further designed using 3-D Solidworks software are composed of composite material and manufactured through a high quality injeciton molded process. The SKID PLATE kit is offered in ‘red’ color and in a set of three pieces with all necessary mounting hardware. The kit which mounts free of the chassis tubular structure allows for the flex of the tube to not be compromised thus allowing the chassis to maintain its original composition. The SKID PLATES further give the driver the neccessary confidence to attack the circuit and any curbing in order to achieve the best lap time. This product does not only fit to all OTK brand chassis, but also fits to several other brand chassis as well.

J3 Magnesium Wheel

Produced with high grade magnesium, the new J3 ‘Supersport’ Magnesium wheel offers drivers a different option for tuning their chassis to meet specific requirements. The new wheel offers a unique shape which improves mid-corner and exit grip along with providing consistent tire wear. The new wheel is also produced with a thicker center section which reduces wheel and tire deflection during high speed cornering. This particular wheel was initially tested with the J3 Compeititon Race Department in La Conca, Italy and has been released with immediate success at the 2011 Florida Winter Tour.
