With many exciting events on the horizon (Super Nationals and Rotax World Finals) the Race Department at J3 Competition has siezed the time alloted during September and October to continually develop its products. With two of their key junior pilots, Tristan DeGrand and Andrew Palmer the team has spent ample time preparing and tesing new solutions in order to be fully prepared for not only 2010, but the exciting looking 2011 season.
During testing this past weekend DeGrand spent ample time testing the Kosmic Mercury coupled with a Junior Leopard package in preparations for the Super Nationals. DeGrand a forerunner on the world stage has been able to log necessary mileage as the team continues its all-around product development. Alongside DeGrand is National Champion Andrew Palmer who has his sights set on preparing for the World FInals in La Conca, Italy. Working with his technicican David Dodson, Palmer has too been putting in ample mileage on the Rotax Jr. package as the team is very please with the results.
“Testing and development have always been the cornerstones of our Race Department and the past months have given us good data” stated team manager. “Of course we still have several test dates before November, but the data and development thus fare have been crucial and we look forward to taking that into 2011.”
