After a very successful 2009 season, the Kosmic Kart chassis line has picked up the pace in 2010 with an increased presence and resume. Working in a tight synergy, J3 Competition has highlighted its 2010 season thus far with results that prove the increased performance and its counterpart — Kosimic Kart has produced the ultimate result on European soil. Entered in the WSK (World Series of Karting) Euro series, which is hearlded as the undesputed and most prestigous and competitive series in the world, Kosmic Kart has recently walked away from Sarno, Italy with the ‘Ulitmate Title’.
The WSK European Championships culmintated this past weekend in Sarno, Italy where factories bearing driver’s in categories such as SKF, KF2, KF3, and KZ 1/2 were all at stake. The world’s premier category, Super KF was challenged by the likes of factories such as; Kosmic Kart, Tony Kart, CRG, Birel, FA-Kart, PCR, Zanardi, and Maranello – just to name a few. Aboard the vast array of manufacture’s were the world’s undesputed best driver’s including, Convers, Ardigo, Catt, Fore, Kozlinski, Cesetti, DeVries and many more capable pilots with resumes that are often times unbelievable. At the end of the grueling five race series there could be only one champion and the crown was squarely placed on Armand Convers and the team at Kosmic Kart Race Department.
Lead by team manager Olivier Marechal, Kosmic Kart won the SKF championship as well as the Euro Cup ‘Team’ championships thanks inpart to the great and consistent results by Convers teammate Ben Cooper. The team utilized Vortex RAD power, the newly homologated KF engine by Vortex coupled with the Kosmic ‘Mercury’ chassis equiped with the consistent BS7 hydraulic braking system. A result of this magnitude proves the Kosmic brand is on the top step in the world offering quality, performance, and technical options.
“We are extremly happy with the results that Olivier and the team acheived with this Championship. At the end of the day we are very close with the factory and the entire team and we know how hard they have been working toward an achievment like this. It’s also great to see the Kosmic brand which we bear in North America on top against the finest and most competitive industry members in the world.”
J3 Competition Race Department and Kosmic Racing Racing Department will both be taking part in the second round of the World Championships in Millville, NJ at the end of July. In attendence will be the entire J3 Competition staff along with driver’s such as Armand Convers, Ben Cooper and the fine technicians from Kosmic Kart. If you have not scheduled your trip and participation in this eveny, then its a must do! It hasn’t been since 1998 when at the time the CIK Formula C World Championships were held on North American soil at then Charlotte Motorspeedway.
