Evolved to be the fastest and most efficient Kart on the market, Kosmic Racing Kart has improved its functionality thanks to the tireless work within the OTK Kart Group. While the chassis configuration(s) will stay the same, efficient upgrades will once again set the Kosmic Kart out from the crowd. Here is the overview of the changes:
Braking System:
SA3 replacing BS7: Changes include a new once piece brake pump utilizing the same internal pieces as the previous model. The front disc has been increase to 4mm thickness to increase durability and driver’s feel. *Brake Pads Remain The Same*
SA2 replacing BS6: Changes include a new once piece brake pump utilizing the same internal pieces as the previous model. The rear caliper will be the same as previous year’s with the option of a 180mm or 206mm brake disc. *Brake Pads Remain The Same*
Fuel Cell:
Increased design allows for easier refueling coupled with the inlet and vent lines on the same side (Brake side) allowing for easier routing of fuel pipe to the engine.
Steering Wheel:
The new steering wheel is designed with the same ergonomics as in 2012, with an added adhesive-type material so the driver can manipulate the chassis easier during the length of a race without getting fatigued.
Floor Tray:
A new instalation system creates only one center mounting point , thus the two flanking points near the front ‘hoop’ bend are replaced with rubber buffers allowing for the floor tray to float which has increased the chassis efficiency.
Adjustable Pedal:
A complete new system (which cannot be adapted to existing models) increases the drivers ability to adapt a proper pedal position without having to change too much with the chassis. The new system is also cast with the surface molded to fit the driver’s shoe better, thus giving added feel which will allow for better throttle and brake control.
