RMC USA WEST Race Week FAQ and Updates

As the Race Rotax staff continues to meticulously prepare for the upcoming RMC USA WEST event at Phoenix Karting Racing Association held over the week of February 17th, the team have compiled a quick and easy FAQ road map for competitors and teams. The basic FAQ touch points are designed to answers those critical and often times quick questions that can ease the competitors thoughts while assisting with efficient logistics and a competitive experience.
Q1 – When does track practice start the week of the race?
A1 – Tuesday February 18 from 9am – 5pm (All fees are paid to PKRA onsite – $75/day)
Q2 – When can I park and setup my pit area?
A2 – Monday February 17th. The official pit map will be posted on the Race Rotax website and staking is allowed into the ground at PKRA
Q3 – When can I purchase practice fuel, tires and spare parts?
A3 – Staff will be setup on Tuesday February 18th to facilitate retail as well as team account sales
Q4 – What is the event format?
A4 – Posted on the Race Rotax RMC USA WEST event page including full official three-day schedule
Q5 – What is the fuel and the mix?
A5 – 91 Octane Dill Petroleum (5 gallon Can) + XPS 2% mix Synthetic
Q5 – When does event Registration Open up onsite for packet pick up?
A5 – Thursday February 20th from 12pm – 5pm and again Friday 8 am – 11 am. | Pit Pass sales will be all week for daily arrivals once Registration is closed
Q6 – When will scales be open?
A6 – Thursday February 20th
Q7 – Will there be concessions on site?
A7 – Food Trucks will be alternating from Thursday onward, however there are several restaurants and grocery stores near by to assist
Q8 – Where do I find event Regulations?
A9 – Regulations are posted under Tech Regs on the Race Rotax Website (Tech, Sporting, Supps)
Q10 – When will Tech be onsite
A10 – Technical Director and Sporting Director will be onsite Thursday to assist with an pre-event questions and courtesy checks
