The final stages of setup have begun in full swing at The Circuit Internazionale Sarno for the 20th annual Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. With over 60 countries and near 400 drivers being represented the infrastructure required to put on such a spectacle is daunting. Thankfully the expertise of BRP-Rotax and its valued partners the event is already near seamless.
Here are few early topics we are keeping our eyes on to see how they work/develop:
-
Team USA is stacked with talent all-around and it will the teams best chance for a Nations Cup since its last one in 2013 when the team won it back on home soil in New Orleans
-
The Electric Kart class in its second year will have some interesting emphasis and announcements forthcoming
-
My20 Mico/Mini Engine – A revised component structure to the standard base 125 evo engine should yield amazing parity and even lower-cost high performance racing
-
Tires – The D5 tire around Sarno will be spectacular to see how the grip goes down and the rate at which times drop as well
-
Registration – A new near fully automated system allowing drivers to enter with online documents/signatures
